How to Overcome Redmi 3 / Pro Signal Loss (No Signal)

Redmi 3

What causes the Xiaomi Redmi 3 / Pro no signal or no signal (no service)? All of that can happen at any time and is common among Xiaomi cellphone users.

Xiaomi Redmi 3 / Pro is a Xiaomi cellphone that was quite in demand in 2022 to 2022. Even today, many cellphones are still using custom roms so that they look more attractive and don’t miss the new cellphones.

Because the MIUI update on the device has stopped and that means you can’t get the latest Android update officially. But don’t worry, because there are many free ROM developers out there who always provide custom ROM modifications with the addition of interesting features.

You are free to use a custom rom and can choose whichever one feels suitable, because there are many types, advantages and disadvantages of each.

One of the shortcomings that are usually experienced after updating the firmware or using a custom rom is usually the redmi 3 has no signal, it can be caused by files that are not compatible with the version of our device.

As far as I’m concerned that signal may be lost due to network issues. The frequency band in Indonesia is different from other countries, if it does not match the provisions of that country, the cellphone cannot be used. For this reason it is necessary to modify the MODEM device to overcome this problem.

Extract the modem files “NOH-HLOS.rar” and “adb_fastboot.rar”. Then in the extracted adb fastboot folder, enter the NOH-HLOS.bin file from the extract earlier.

4. Run cmd.exe on adb fastboot by the way press and hold the SHIFT key then right click on the mouse, a menu of options will appear and please select Open Command Window Here.

5. Connect the Redmi 3 cellphone to the PC with a data cable, wait until the driver installation is complete.

6. Now turn off the cellphone, then the cellphone is off press Volume Up button together Power button simultaneously until the FASTBOOT menu appears.

7. If the phone is already connected to the PC in fastboot mode, now run the command as below in the CMD terminal by typing:

fastboot devices

8. If the phone is detected and the data cable is connected properly, your Redmi 3 device code will appear, continue by typing:

fastboot flash modem NOH-HLOS.bin

9. Wait for the process to run and until it says Finished. The last step type:

fastboot reboot

10. The phone will reboot / restart.

Warning: The Redmi 3 / Pro Fastboot firmware or ROM file given above is only optional if the above method for your Redmi 3 is still no service or there is no signal.

If the first method doesn’t work, to use the file, simply take the NOH-HLOS.bin file in the Fastboot ROM extract and copy it to the adb_fastboot folder earlier.

Because in some cases the experience is also different in the ROM used, and it makes the modem file used is also different to deal with it.

For example, here you lose signal on the Global Stable ROM caused by downgrading from MIUI 8 to MIUI 7 where you have to download the MIUI 8 Global Stable Fastboot ROM, copy and paste the NON-HLOS.bin file.
