How to Deactivate OVO on Tokopedia Easily

How to deactivate OVO on Tokopedia

With the presence of a digital wallet application or commonly referred to as an e-wallet, transaction activities are made easier, especially when we shop online such as paying for products or services.

There are lots of e-wallet applications in Indonesia, one of which is OVO, which in collaboration with Tokopedia, succeeded in making Tokopedia users switch from Toko Cash to OVO.

My own experience since using ovo is indeed very helpful, moreover it not only functions as a payment method on Tokopedia, but this application has other features where we can buy credit, pay PLN bills, data packages, pay BPJS, pay cable tv and internet subscriptions. and much more.

In addition to making it easier for us when shopping at Tokopedia, OVO also provides discounts in the form of Ovo Points which we will get when shopping at Tokopedia using the ovo payment system.

However, there are also some users who are worried because some time ago it was reported that the Tokopedia database was leaked to the public, this is certainly disturbing for users who also have balances in their OVO.

Overview of OVO

As I mentioned above, there are currently many digital wallet services emerging such as Gopay, Ovo, Dana and others. By sharing the features provided as a substitute for cash payments that can be used for online transactions.

But not only these features will be obtained, but we will also get additional features such as Ovo Premier which can be used for money transfers, increased balance limits to 10 million, Ovo PayLater and others.

Not only that, it turns out that with ovo points we can also top up Grab, Gojek balances or purchase electricity tokens and postpaid PLN payments easily and quickly without any transaction fees charged to customers.

However, for those who don’t have Ovo Points, you can still make transactions by topping up first through banks such as Mandiri, BCA, BRI, BNI, Jenius, Permata, BTPN and others.

In a sophisticated era like today, it is not impossible that in the future we will not have to carry cash in our wallets everywhere, because I can predict that in 10 or 20 years people will switch to payment systems using digital money.

In Indonesia, the most popular e-wallets are Gopay, OVO and Dana. We’ll see, who can survive by providing promos and discounts for their customers, because the one who is strong enough to burn money will definitely be the winner.
