How to Register LKPP E-Catalog Easily and Quickly

LKPP E-catalog

The government requires the procurement of goods and services to meet the needs. The government through LKPP facilitates the process for procuring these products. The trick is to launch an e-catalog. Entrepreneurs should understand how to register the LKPP e-catalog.

Before discussing further, it would be better if you understand what LKPP and the E-catalog system are. Read on for the explanation below to get as complete information as possible.

What is LKPP E-catalog

LKPP is an abbreviation for Government Goods/Services Procurement Policy Institute. As the name suggests, this institution has the task of managing the procurement of goods and services for government purposes.

Procurement of goods and services can be done in two ways, namely direct purchase and a tender or auction system.

To simplify the process of procuring goods and services, LKPP then formed a system called e-catalog. The e-catalog was launched in conjunction with e-procurement. This system is intended for the procurement of goods and services with a direct purchase system.

Both systems, both e-catalog and e-procurement, are operated by a special agency, namely the Electronic Procurement Service (LPSE).

E-catalog is an open system type. This means that entrepreneurs or the general public can participate in registering their products into the system.

How to Register LKPP E-catalog

Are you interested in becoming a provider of goods or services in the LKPP E-catalog? There are 10 steps that you have to do in order. The following is a more complete explanation on how to register as a provider in the LKPP E-catalog.

How to Register LKPP E-catalog

1. Proposal

The first process in registering in the LKPP E-catalog is the proposal stage. Here, Ministries/Institutions/Regional Apparatus Work Units/Agencies (KLDI) propose the types of goods or services needed to the Director of LKPP Catalog System Development.

2. Analysis and Clarification

After KLDI submits the type of goods or services needed, this proposal is followed up. The party in charge of analyzing and clarifying the proposal from KLDI is the Director of Catalog System Development at LKPP.

3. Discontinued Clarification Results

The Director of Catalog System Development at LKPP who has finished analyzing and clarifying continues the proposal to the E-catalog Working Group. This E-catalog Working Group is tasked with following up on proposals that have been clarified.

4. Further Needs Study

The E-catalog Working Group continues its duties by conducting a study of the needs of KLDI. The following is a breakdown of general requirements:

  • Supply chain and logistics management
  • Technical specifications
  • Special terms of the provider
  • Provider business process

5. Selection of Providers

After all needs are known, the fifth process is to select a provider who will meet the needs of goods or services according to KLDI’s request. This process is carried out by negotiating prices until an agreement is reached between the provider and LKPP.

6. Contract Making

When the provider has been selected after going through a negotiation process, LKPP will make an umbrella contract. The umbrella contract itself is an agreement with one or more providers to procure an item or service by determining the unit or retail price.

7. Sign the Contract

The completed contract is then signed by the Head of the Government Goods/Services Procurement Policy Institute.

8. Product Featured

The products offered by the provider are displayed in the LKPP e-catalog system. This presentation is accompanied by complete information about the product and its provider.

9. KLDI Conducts E-purchasing

Goods or services that have been displayed in the e-catalog system can be purchased online by KLDI.

10. Procurement of Goods and Payment

Orders that have been received from KLDI are then processed by the provider. The product is then shipped and payment is paid by KLDI.

Although the steps for registering the LKPP E-catalog above are quite long, all of them can be done online. Of course, this greatly facilitates the parties involved, from LKPP itself, providers of goods and services, to KLDI.
