Uber Provides Helicopter Ojek & Here's the Fares
Uber recently released a service called Uber Copter in New York, USA. As the name implies, Uber Copter is a service ride-hailing by using a helicopter developed by Uber Elevate.
Uber Elevete is a subsidiary of the Uber company that was founded three years ago. Now the ambition is to create a ‘ojek’ service via air.
Later users will be able to rent Uber’s helicopter service starting from July 9 next at a price of 225 US dollars or the equivalent IDR 3.2 million per one flight.
When this service starts operating, Uber Copter will take its passengers from New York City to Jhon F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) with a travel time of 8 minutes.
If you use a car, the travel time from New York City to JFK Airport can reach 50 to 75 minutes.
Uber Introduces Helicopters To Transport Passengers
Uber can only accommodate 5 passengers. Regarding baggage, an Uber Copter passenger is not allowed to carry luggage more than 40 pounds or around 18 kg.
Now to order this Uber Copter, users can book a trip by helicopter through Uber’s application.
Unfortunately, not all passengers can order this Uber Copter. Because only those who have Platinum or Diamond status can enjoy this Uber Copter.
It is not yet known whether the Uber Copter service can only be used to take users to other areas, other than the New York city route.
