After Dafunda Tekno quoted from the Motherboard network analysis report, the data that Zoom sent to Facebook was a number of detailed user information.

The information that Zoom sends when the user opens the application starts from the user’s location, the smartphone model used, the cellular operator used. Up to a special ID that is used to place ads or third parties so that ads are targeted at users.

User policy page not available

More than that, what the Zoom application has done in the iOS version is not loaded by the developer on the user policy page.

A Facebook spokesperson told Motherboard that the developer is using the company’s SDK. In addition, application developers also need to be transparent and clear with users about the data sent by Facebook.

Until now there has been no confirmation from the developer regarding the issue of sending user data. Users hope that this incident must be followed up before Zoom application users get angry.

This kind of thing happens quite often when all user data information has been collected. The developers arbitrarily use the data for their benefit. Not thinking about the impact of what happens after the user’s personal data is submitted.
