How Will 5G Affect 4G in the Future?

Now a number of operators are starting to try or test network technology 5G. Then, will the 5G network replace 4G in the future? No, the arrival of 5G will not replace 4G in the future.

“5G is not a challenger to 4G, but as a complement to 4G later,” said VP Technology Relations and Special Project Smartfren Munir Syahda Prabowo on the sidelines of Smartfren conducting 5G trials in Bekasi, West Java.

Then he also explained the reason. As he said, 5G is more directed to the industrial world, self-driving cars, and entertainment. Of course this will be different from what is provided by 4G.

So don’t think that the 5G network will replace 4G, you could say this 5G network is a complement to the 4G network.

The same goes for 2G, where people still need the network. The factor of each cellular network has its own target.

Until now 2G can still be used, it depends on the industry in the field. So it’s not a problem with the latest networks, so 5G will focus on certain markets later.
