Some of the benefits of the BBM Mod application

Conversation is now easier and free on the internet. Where there are no fees for sending every message and only the internet quota or bandwidth is reduced. Of course, more and more users are using the Internet as a means of rapid communication. Although actual communication over the Internet has been classified in the past, there are still many who do not know or understand the method of using it, especially parents who wish to do so, and the most experienced are even teenagers more likely than parents to operate their devices.

One of the free conversation apps is BBM (Blackberry Messenger). In the past, the application was only available on BlackBerry phones. But in 2021, the search for higher profits began to spread to other smartphones. The features in BBM are also still considered mediocre, in contrast to the line-class application Whatsapp, which tends to take care of everything that can be done easily and without complications. Though the BBM features don’t look like much, but only the conversation application is number 1 in the territory of Indonesia.

Every update that BBM has is even less impressive. Judging from similar uses, it has come a long way to have more features like adding covers, likes, and comments. But of course if it’s on BBM then it’s no longer a conversational application and everything becomes social media. The feature that’s still relatively missing is the limited DP (Display Picture) upload feature, but there is a way to get over it and still be able to upload full pictures, this is with the BBM Mod application distributed by users on the internet for free.

The features in the mod are more of a modern form of the normal BBM application. However, this still cannot be fully trusted if the BBM Mod application fails the virus check test as the application is not from the Play Store and is publicly shared through the website. Here, I don’t want to share the BBM Mod application, but rather share all of the features that make people want to try it out, see the following.

  1. DP can be long – It is known that BBM Original can only upload square size photos, but if it can be uploaded to BBM Mod directly according to the resolution of the original photo and can appear long when viewed, users do not need to crop every image they want to upload.
  2. Have different views – When viewing on BBM, blue is used as the basic UI, it is different again when the BBM mod has a different look. Sometimes it can be an image that can be changed or a permanent image background that cannot be changed.
  3. Remove all ads – Maybe you can’t say it with the word disappear, because basically this BBM Mod just hides advertising. That’s not a good thing, of course, but there is still an option in Settings to continue showing or hiding ads.
  4. Remove or enlarge image DP chat – In BBM Original it can be seen that the chat list area only offers a round icon display and only shows a small contact picture. Now the image can be enlarged or removed again when using BBM Mod.
  5. Opening of dual BBM accounts – Currently, BBM Mod consists of 2 types, namely clone and unclone. If the clone has a different package name it will allow a device to install 2 BBM applications, and if unclone requires the user to uninstall the old BBM application and install the new one.
  6. Enter ENTER as a new line – Note that BBM Original sends a message immediately when the user presses the ENTER key on the keyboard, but in this mod version the user can make the ENTER key on a new line and the navigation keys via to send messages using the keyboard.
  7. List of free stickers – Many stickers on BBM need to be purchased, but BBM Mod provides a list of stickers from BBM for free and does not indicate paid stickers.
  8. App lock functions – This can be used when BBM is really very personal. In this way, the user can set a password to be able to open the BBM application. However, if you forget your password there is no way to recover it other than erasing the data in the BBM application.
  9. Can make a backup on a ROOT phone – If the phone was ROOT, you can create backups of all existing calls. So if you want to see the content of the conversation, you can restore it first.
  10. Delete the entire chat with one click – Not intended to delete a contact, but to delete the current chat that is on BBM. Users don’t need to mark which chats to delete as all chats are deleted immediately.
  11. Menu for clearing the cache – This menu is not called Empty Cache, but Update BBM, which clears all caches in BBM. This is also possible if there is a Contact DP that does not display an image and remains on a gray image.

That’s all I know so far and maybe more features will be provided by BBM modders over the years. And it is not my intention to prevent the use of BBM Mod, but it is better before using it, it is better to scan or test for viruses with an antivirus application on the device so that no unwanted things happen. Always display ads in such a way that BBM continues to deliver the best quality to all usersbecause if the ad is hidden, it can harm BBM itself.
