Easy way to lock the timeline on Facebook

There is always something new on Facebook and it offers the best quality for every user. Every year there are always new features that allow users to always have the latest features such as emoticons or the ability to respond to recently published posts. Every day Facebook users are always online at unsafe times, it can be 24 hours non-stop if the account is used for business, or just call up notifications such as messages or communication via posts. In the past, Facebook couldn’t use emoticons, but now when users leave comments with icons, emoticons or even emojis will definitely appear.

In mid-2021, this new feature appeared on Facebook and some other changes. One of the changes that is getting users’ interest is the updating of emoticons on Facebook in messages or chats. However, when users want to send to friends on the timeline, they’ll still use the old version of the emoticons. Perhaps the user has seen the chronology of a closed friend and only he can write contributions to this chronology. Even though the user is a friend, they still cannot send anything even if it is anything other than status. Something like this is very much in demand and makes people want it too but don’t know how to do it.

Closing or locking this timeline is a common thing and not a secret trick, so This is just a privacy setting. Some people also find this annoying because each friend cannot write anything in their chronology and can only go through messages or comments. An example of this is seeing a friend’s birthday on Facebook and not sending a congratulatory message on the timeline. But such incidents are also a lot of mistakes if you allow the chronology to be public and all Facebook users, friends or not.

It is actually quite simple limit the chronology so that it can only be for friends or just users. No third-party application is required for this as it is just like editing the privacy as if you want to update the status. This is only the case in the settings. I only activate this setting when I want to, and probably only when the user’s birthday is, so that the posts don’t flood the timeline. Here is the procedure.

  1. Please open a Facebook account first, it is better to use PC only for convenience. Continue with heading too opportunity and click arrangement.

It’s easy, isn’t it? All you have to do is edit the privacy and users can completely lock the timeline right away. We recommend activating this privacy only if there are special circumstances, e.g. E.g. if the user doesn’t want to be disturbed by anyone on the timeline, but it’s also fine if the user wants to change privacy just for the user because that’s a right. If it doesn’t seem much different on a cellphone than the method above, look out for the “Chronology and Bookmarks” menu section. As when the user does not want to make the Facebook timeline visible to others such as friends, the procedure is almost the same as above and only differs in the menu area on the Chronology and Bookmarks page.

Unfortunately there is still no feature to restrict only certain friends who can post on the timeline, but if someone else sends something to the user’s timeline that doesn’t make sense, just block it and that person will be invisible forever as long as the user is unlocked. The above method is safe as it goes straight through Facebook settings and doesn’t require a help application. If anyone has any questions about locking the timeline, please comment.

Hopefully useful and good luck
