How to Make a Japanese Visa Waiver

1. Fill out the Registration Form
The form can be obtained online via the official Japanese embassy website and you can also pick it up at the Japanese Embassy office on Jl.MH Thamrin No.24, RT.9/RW.5, Gondangdia, Menteng, Central Jakarta. Please fill in the form according to your data in your e-passport. If you only have a regular passport then please upgrade first because that is the requirement.
2. Receive Proof of Registration
After you have filled in the form correctly, the next step is to take the form to the Japanese Embassy office in Indonesia for the registration process which takes a minimum of 5 days. You will receive proof of registration for your visa waiver application which must be kept carefully for passport collection when the visa waiver document is ready to be used. You can pick it up from 13:30 – 16:00 WIB.
