Experience Using Indihome 20 Mbps Wifi
Rasmakom – Hi friends, in this article I want to tell you about my experience in using Indihome WiFi with a 20 Mbps package for more than 1 month, so maybe this can be an illustration for friends who want to install Indihome in their respective homes.
Why Should Indihome?
Actually, if there was another option, I would like to try using the new provider from PLN, namely Iconnet, only because the network poles don’t arrive or don’t exist yet, and the only one available is Indihome, so I’m forced to use Indihome.
Apart from that, the need for online school means that I have to install wifi as soon as possible. Apart from that, before I used Indihome, many of my neighbors had already installed it, I had been using it for a month and the speed was pretty good.
How much does the 20 Mbps Indihome Package cost?
The price for the 20 mbps Indihome package itself is around 350 thousand (if I’m not mistaken), but for the first installation we have to pay a transfer of 550 thousand, which includes VAT tax and initial installation services.
Meanwhile, for the second month you only pay 250 thousand (yes, maybe the calculation is the same as 300 thousand/month.
As for the speed itself, it’s true that downloads are up to 20 mbps, but for uploads it’s only 3 Mbps, (not satisfied with the upload speed) but yes, it’s still reliable.
At least 1 year to install Indihome?
So, to install it, we are required to subscribe for at least 1 year. If there is a cancellation in the middle of the month, we will be subject to a fine of around 1 million rupiah.
So before the internet is fully active we will get a call from Telkom Jakarta to verify and agree to the terms and conditions.
Conclusion
For the time being, I feel comfortable using this 20 mpbs Indihome wifi, because it is only for online lectures. Apart from that, it is also quite good for 4-5 family devices at home.
