News : OnePlus Enters the Monitor Market by Releasing the X 27 QHD 165Hz Gaming Monitor

As a leading smartphone brand that has been present in the Indonesian market before, OnePlus is now entering the global monitor market, and has even started selling it in India. The premium OnePlus monitor, the X 27, will go on sale on December 15 for INR 27,999 or Rp. 5.2 million.

As the name implies, the X 27 has a 27-inch IPS panel, a resolution of 2560×1440 and a refresh rate of 165Hz. OnePlus claims this monitor has a 1 ms response time, 10-bit color, 95% DCI-P3 coverage, and DisplayHDR 400 certification. This monitor is also AMD FreeSync Premium certified for Variable Refresh Rate support with AMD GPUs but should also be compatible with Nvidia and Intel GPUs.

The X 27 has a metal body with an adjustable metal stand, tilting, pivoting and full rotation. The monitor offers an additional USB-C connector with DisplayPort Alt-Mode support and can also send 65W of power via USB-PD, so it can be used to charge laptops. Other features include a split-screen mode for connecting two different sources and viewing them in dual PbP or PiP mode. There are also several color modes available, including standard, film, picture, web, and game. Further game modes offer MOBA, FPS, RTS and RPG modes.

In addition to the Model X, there is also the less expensive Model E 24 which features a 75Hz IPS panel with a 24-inch, 1920×1080 resolution. It offers adaptive sync, a slim 8mm body, a metal stand with tilt and swivel adjustment and built-in cable management, and a USB-C connector. Although for the Model E there is no price or availability information yet.
