News : Boom Esports Meets PSG.LSD, Their TI11 Journey is Over

Boom Esports once rocked the TI stage by successfully entering the playoffs with a chance of only about 1%, and their victory against the defending championship Team Spirit seems to be nothing to stop BOOM Esports’ momentum. But unfortunately reality says otherwise.

In the second half of the TI11 playoffs, BOOM Esports met PSG.LSD. Many consider this team as the last king and with BOOM’s performance yesterday, many fans think that BOOM still has a chance to win. But unfortunately, the team that was called the last king managed to beat BOOM Esports with a quick 2-0 match.

BOOM Esports’ journey so far has not been easy. They managed to beat Team Liquid to compete for the TI11 slot through the DPC point route. And in the group stage, BOOM Esports could not show their best performance and only had a 1% chance to qualify for the playoffs.

They managed to beat Soniqs and BetBOOM during the tie breaker and managed to enter the main event. After that, BOOM Esports entered the lower bracket and met Team Spirit. With the momentum from the previous match, they managed to bring Team Spirit home and became the only SEA team still in TI.

But this is where BOOM meets PSG.LGD. Monkey King and Drow Ranger games were enough to bring BOOM Esports home in a fast match at TI11.

This defeat made BOOM Esports ranked 9-12 by bringing in $342,190 or the equivalent of 5.3 billion Rupiah.
