Welcome to Crypto's New Legend! New Apex Legends™ Mobile Hyperbeat Event Has Started
EA and Respawn Entertainment announced a new event for Apex Legends Mobile. The Hyperbeat event officially launches on September 24, 2022, with lots of exciting new features to learn more about. In addition to the arrival of the new Crypto Legend, the Hyperbeat event will also include a new Ranked Split system, a new Battle Pass, and an update to the game’s main system.
Apex Legends fans may already be familiar with Crypto, but for the uninitiated, he is a brilliant hacker and encryption expert who specializes in secrets. At the heart of its capabilities is the aerial drone, which has been specially designed for Apex Legends Mobile to follow Crypto and can automatically track nearby enemies within a certain period of time. This drone spies on its opponents unseen in the Apex arena to discover their secrets. However, Crypto has many secrets of its own.
In Apex Legends Mobile, Crypto has three main capabilities including:
- Passive: Neurolink – Enemies and traps detected by the surveillance drone will be marked for your squad within 30 meters.
- Tactical: Surveillance Drone – Sending piloted drones to monitor the surroundings. Drone detects enemy team and battlefield dangers.
- Ultimate: Drone EMP – The drone will trigger an EMP explosion that deals Shield damage, slows down enemies, and disables traps.
Crypto also has a unique set of Legend Perks, including:
- Self Destruct: The destroyed drone explodes after 3 seconds, slowing and dealing damage to enemies hit by the explosion.
- Hidden User: Becomes semi-transparent when controlling the drone.
- System Scan: The drone shows the enemy’s HP and armor after 3 seconds of scanning.
- Shut Down: Your Ultimate Skill will reduce HP but cannot kill enemies.
- Lag Bombs: Your drone can launch EMP bombs that slow down and deal damage.
- Salvage Operation: Your drone can pick up items.
- Battle Adaptation: Using the Finisher can add 100 points to your EVO Shield.
- Restart: Using Finisher can instantly repair your drone or reduce your Ultimate cooldown by 30%.
- Interrogator: Uses your Finisher to locate your target squad on the minimap.
Apex Legends Mobile’s new Hyperbeat event will also include several updates to Kings Canyon, including: town takeover new in Pythas Theatre! A new VIP Supply can also be found throughout Kings Canyon which will allow players to collect VIP Passes and gain access to crates made up of powerful gear.
With the release of Hyperbeat, Apex Legends Mobile introduced a new Ranked Split and added additional Ranked Rewards. That way, this game will reset the rank as at the beginning of Distortion, similar to the reset that occurred at the beginning of the previous season. In addition, new Ranked rewards will be available for higher ranks.
