Tutorial How to Use Luts in Adobe Premiere Pro CC
In the installation, these Luts will give a new color to our video according to the Luts data. Where these luts are usually used for color grading, 3d rendering, color space and so on. And for an example this time I will give a little effect on video footage with a cinematic impression. So we need to change the color in our video footage to change the color of the leaves, light, shadow, highlight, channelization and so on. And of course here we will need the luts.
To get your own luts, you can buy and also look for free ones. I suggest if you want to get a color with a contemporary impression, then you can buy it at a premium. How to Install or Install Luts in Adobe Premiere Pro CC:
- Please download the luts that you want to use first.
- If the luts file is still a rar / zip, please extract it first.
- Make a folder to put this Luts file so it’s easy to find.
- Then open your Adobe Premiere Pro CC application.
- Prepare the video footage that you want to edit.
- Create an adjustment layer on your project. How can click on new item – add adjustment layer – OK.
- After that, please drag the adjustment layer from the project column into your timelines column (more precisely above the video that you prepared earlier)
- If you have please enter effectthen look for the effect named lumetri color and after that you drag the lumetri color effect into the adjustment layer.
How to enter the installed luts into adobe premiere pro CC video editing:
- First make sure tool selection on the adjustment layer position.
- Then please click on
effects controls.
- Then go to basic correction-input lut.
- If so, please click browse and select the folder where luts you saved. If two please choose one luts what you want and then click
open.
- That way your video footage will change its color tone as shown in the image below.
- If the color combination doesn’t match, you can adjust it again by adjusting the tone in this effect control.
