Ranveer Singh Pays homage to Jean-Luc Godard, the recently deceased Godfather of French Cinema

Reuters News Agency, quoted Wednesday (14/9/2022), confirmed the news by citing a local newspaper. Godard himself is known for his classics such as “Breathless” and “Contempt”, which added a new dimension to the world of cinema and pushed cinematic boundaries even higher.
Minutes after news of Jean-Luc Godard’s death surfaced, tributes began pouring in from world leaders, fellow filmmakers, artists, and cinema entrepreneurs around the world.
French President Emmanuel Macron, for example, tweeted and wrote in French to express his respect. He described Godard as “The most iconoclastic New Wave filmmaker, who has discovered a very modern and very free art. We lost a national treasure, a genius performance.”
Actor Ranveer Singh, who has made it big in Bollywood, also expressed his sincere appreciation to the deceased legendary filmmaker. Deepika Padukone’s husband shared a black and white photo of the man who is also known as a screenwriter and film critic, on his personal Instagram.
For additional information, Ranveer Singh Singh is currently preparing a new project in the form of the film ‘Cirkus’ by Rohit Shetty.
He is also slated to star in Karan Johar’s romantic comedy ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ which will pair him with Alia Bhatt. Of course, Singh has a lot of projects to look forward to and his fans are looking forward to witnessing the same.
