How to Enter Recovery Mode on an Android Phone
How to enter recovery mode on an android phone – First of all we have to know what is recovery mode? In short, recovery means recovery, update, or it can also be interpreted as repair. Recovery mode is a menu system that serves to be used as a recovery on Android devices. On smartphones that have the Android operating system, not all of them are equipped with a recovery mode, but most have been equipped with a recovery mode. Before entering recovery mode on an Android phone, it would be nice to back up your data first, this is so that when an error occurs, your data on the Android device is not lost/deleted.
The following are the steps to enter recovery mode, including:
- Make sure your Android cellphone battery is sufficient.
- Turn off your android phone. Because if the android phone is not turned off, it will not be able to enter recovery mode. So make sure the android phone is really turned off.
- Press the power button, volume up, and home simultaneously. Wait a few moments and then a display like the image below will appear.

If your Android phone has a display like the screenshot above, it means you have successfully entered recovery mode. How to operate in recovery mode is very simple and easy you just need to press the power button, volume up (+) and volume down (-). The way to move/scroll down is to press the volume down button (-) and to move/scroll up is to press the volume up button (+) and if you want to select an option or options, press the power button. And if you find writing (../) without brackets it is to return to the previous menu.

- apply update from ADB which is used to install or install files from ADB. The definition of ADB itself is an abbreviation of Android Debug Bridge and is a communication medium between computers and Android devices.
- wipe data/factory reset which serves to reset data or restore the android device as usual according to factory settings.
- wipe cache partition which is used to clean cache files on Android devices. The cache itself is a temporary file/data storage place.
