When making purchases at Shopee, there is a term called Check Out or often abbreviated as CO. What exactly is Check Out and how do you do it?
What is Shopee Checkout?
Check out is a process carried out to complete a purchase. When checking out, the buyer can choose which method to pay using what method.
You could say that the check out process is the process of finalizing the order before entering the seller’s notification.

How to Check Out on Shopee
If it’s your first time trying to Check Out but don’t know how, here are the steps:
- First, open the Shopee app and select what items you want to buy.
- If you have found the item of your choice, you can click buy now to make a payment immediately or add it to the cart if you still want to choose other items.
- Select the cart logo in the upper right corner to view the items to be ordered. Make sure that the number and variety of products are correct.
- When you are sure you want to buy, click check out in the lower right corner.
- Set the delivery address, recipient’s name and recipient’s mobile number.
- Select the delivery service and payment method that will be used.
- Enter the voucher if available.
- Click check out to confirm the order.
Completed, your order will be included in the seller’s notification and will be shipped immediately.
Payment Method in Shopee When Check Out
As previously mentioned, there are several payment methods that you can use to pay for your order.
First there is ShopeePay. ShopeePay is an e-wallet managed by Shopee. To top up the balance, you can click on the main page.
If you don’t have ShopeePay, you can pay using a regular Bank Transfer.
If you do not have a bank account, then you can pay for orders through merchant partners such as Indomaret or Alfamart.
Finally, you can choose to pay COD or by courier when your order arrives.
