Stealing HP and IDR 5 million to play Higgs Domino, a young man is taken away by the Jatanras Team of the Babel Police
PANGKALPINANG, Lintasbabel.id – A young man with the initials Os (25) was arrested by Team 1 Opsnal Subdit III Jatanras Directorate General of Criminal Investigation of the Bangka Belitung Islands Police (Babel), Monday (16/5/2022) afternoon. The perpetrator was arrested for committing theft in the West Bangka Regency area. Unfortunately, this action was carried out by Os because he was addicted to playing the online game Higgs Domino.
“From the information we received, the perpetrators were determined to steal because of their addiction to the online game Higgs Domino and alcohol as well as for their daily needs,” said Head of Public Relations of the Babel Islands Police, Kombes Pol. A. Maladi, Tuesday (17/5/2022).
The arrest of the suspect, said Maladi, began with an investigation by the Jatanras Team into the Curat crime that occurred in the Tempilang District, West Bangka Regency.
From the results of the investigation and interrogation of the victim and the witness, it was discovered that the missing items were in the form of cash amounting to Rp. 5 million which was located in the bag and 2 units of cellphone belonging to the victim.
“From this information, it leads to the Os perpetrator who is also known to be a recidivist in the Curat case in 2015. And previously, this Os perpetrator pawned 1 unit of cellphone to someone,” he explained.
