What is Instagram’s Pronouns Feature?
Pronouns are a feature that will make it easier for other users to find out what the actual gender identity of the account owner is. He can also be shaped as a pronoun in addition to using a name.
There are 4 pronouns provided, namely She/Her for women and He/Him for men.
This feature can only be used by users aged 18 years and over. If you are not yet 18, this feature will not appear on our IG profile.

How to Overcome the Pronouns Feature Not Appearing on Our Instagram
This feature is in the edit profile section. It is located under the username name settings. One place to edit profile photo, username, bio, and account settings.
If there you still don’t find the pronouns feature, then there are 2 reasons:
First, You haven’t updated your Instagram account to the latest version.
How to solve this problem, you simply go to Google PlayStore, then update your application there.
Second, You’re not old enough. The requirement is a minimum age of 18 years. Calculation of age is not based on the identity on the ID card, but the identity of the account. Even if you use a fake birth year ID on Instagram, and you’re actually over 18 years old, this feature still doesn’t work.
How to handle it? You can change your birth year or wait until you turn 18.
What is the Importance of Using the Pronouns Feature?
The end is drawing near. In this day and age many men resemble women, and women resemble men. Some followers are confused about the identity of today’s humans.
In addition, for users who are mistaken for men when they are women and vice versa, there is a special heartache to be called that. For that, this feature will help clarify their identity.
The goal is for account owners to have more respect for their identities. So that followers know, “I’m a boy!” Or “I’m a girl!”
For foreign countries, this feature is very helpful for them. Either this feature will be useful in Indonesia or not. What is clear, the Pronouns feature has been released worldwide. Do you want to wear it or not?
