How to Record and View Video Recorded Zoom Meetings

Did you know that there is a record feature in the Zoom application that can help you record videos during meetings or online learning processes in the Zoom application?
Not many people know about this, especially for ordinary users who can only use the Zoom application but don’t have time to explore all the features in it.
The Record feature is very helpful for those of us who are in a hurry and can’t attend the full meeting due to other activities.
That’s why there is a record feature where we can record and view all ongoing activities during a meeting or meeting.
And what’s even cooler is that this feature has no limit, meaning that no matter how long the duration of the meeting takes place, that’s how long the recording process will run.
However, please note that users must provide sufficient storage space to accommodate long video recordings.

How to Record on Zoom
For a very easy way to record or record videos on Zoom, please follow these steps:
- Open the Zoom app.
- Join the meeting first.
- After joining the meeting, there is a Record button at the bottom.
- Click the Record button.
- Then the video recording process will run.
- If you want to stop, please press the Stop button.
Now the recording file will be automatically saved to your laptop storage. To view it, please follow the steps below.
How to View Zoom Video Recordings
- Go to folder Documents > Zoom.
- In that folder you will see the results of the zoom record.
- The recording is in the form of an mp4 video format file and usually has the name zoom_0.mp4.
- If you see it, then that’s the result of the record earlier.
You can also set the location of the folder where the Zoom record file is stored to another folder. Because usually on local disk C, most don’t have enough space to record long videos.
To find this setting, you can enter the Zoom application and select Settings, select the Recording menu and please set it to the storage folder as desired by pressing the Change button.
Where are the zoom records stored?
So if there is a question about where the zoom record results are stored, by default they are stored in C:\Users(Username-PC)\Documents\Zoom\ and that’s where the zoom record is stored.
The size of the video file is determined by the quality of the recording and also the duration of the recording, the longer the duration of the recording, the larger the video file that will be generated.
Therefore, before you decide to record a meeting or other things, please first check the available storage capacity.
If it is possible, please record it. However, if for example the memory space you have is very tight, for example 2 to 4 GB, please set it to another storage place to prevent the recording video file storage process from failing later.
