How to Get Rid of Annoying App Recommendations on Xiaomi
If you are an old Xiaomi user, you must be familiar with how to eliminate annoying application recommendations. This method is done so that applications that get promoted do not continue to appear every day and fill notifications and screens on the cellphone.

How to Get Rid of Annoying App Recommendations
Application recommendations that keep appearing in notifications are certainly very annoying, especially when they appear quite randomly every day and make users feel uncomfortable. Well, to get rid of Promote Apps, you can follow the steps below in sequence.
1. Turning Off Get Apps
Get Apps is a default application from Xiaomi which in general is very similar to the Playstore. In that country, the Playstore cannot be used so a replacement application is provided. Unfortunately, this application often creates problems because it often brings up fake notifications.
As soon as a notification appears on the screen, it turns out to be from this application. They recommend certain applications with interesting captions. Some people who are not aware, might suppress it and eventually get carried away. To turn it off, do the steps below:
- Entered into Settings.
- Scroll down until you find Apps or Application.
- Because Get Apps tincluding applications owned by the system, you must go to System Apps. Look for Get Apps there.
- After logging in, immediately press Forced Close.
At this point, the default application will not be able to work again. You can’t uninstall built-in apps, so turning them off is the way to go.

2. Turning off Promote Apps
Actually there is a way that can be done to turn off Promote Apps. Here are the steps you can take:
- Go to a folderr in which there are many applications. Usually at the bottom of other applications there will be promoting apps.
- The top part of promoting apps will be there retractable gear wheel. It is Settings from promoting apps.
- Because you want to turn it off, Slide the button so it’s not active. Until here, promote apps will not reappear.
- If in the future promote apps appear again, you can turn it off again using the method above once again.
Promote Apps and Wrong Press
There are actually two reasons why many Xiaomi users are annoyed with promoting apps or recommendation notifications. First, it fills notifications and screens. Moreover, the type of application that is recommended is not suitable and you do not like.
Next is the problem of pressing wrong. There are times when you open a folder and find a new line of apps, you can accidentally press it. The effect of this is that you do the installation process automatically.
If the recommendation appears at the top of the HP notification alias, the possibility of experiencing the wrong press will also be large. If you press it, the Get Apps app will open and ask you to install the app.
