Covid-19 Cases Rise, Developer Genshin Impact Promises To Release Version 2.7 On Time

The developer of Genshin Impact, HoYoverse, is based in Shanghai and the city is currently facing a severe increase in Covid-19 cases.

The government has done lockdown and residents try to meet their daily needs such as food.

Several game studios established in Shanghai such as Activision Blizzard, Ubisoft, and EA, have established a work from home policy. Naturally, this affects work efficiency.

Previous rumors suggested that the developer might delay the Genshin Impact version 2.7 update due to Covid-19.
