Xiaomi Patents Smartphone with 4 Rear Cameras
Xiaomi has obtained the latest patent for a device that carries four cameras on the back. This Chinese company registered the patent with the Chinese National Intellectual Property Agency (CNIPA).
In the patent list there is a sketch of a device consisting of four cameras on the back. The camera position is stored in a moon-shaped area. Meanwhile, the front of the phone looks to fill the screen with two selfie cameras and LED Flash that is hidden and uses a slider mechanism.
As reported by GSMArena, this device at first glance looks similar to Mototoral’s smartphone, namely the Moto series. Besides, at the bottom it’s only visible only port USB-C without 3.5mm audio-port.
In addition to smartphones with 4 rear cameras, Xiaomi has also listed smartphones that have three cameras arranged vertically. On the front there are two cameras, the two cameras are embedded in a camera notch with an unusual design. Not like waterdrop mostly like cell phones nowadays.

You can also see from the image above that there is no fingerprint sensor. It could be that the fingerprint sensor is pinned under the screen. As is known, Xiaomi’s mid-range devices already use an OLED panel and a fingerprint sensor at the bottom of the screen.
Now what you need to note, this is only a patent registration. It is not yet known whether the device will be realized or produced commercially.
