The most important point that Vijce emphasized was angle
When angle you took the right photo, the stairs that should be a public place can be aesthetically pleasing like the picture above. Especially if you have good editing skills.
And feel free to take from any angle. Up, down, side, just try them all and it will get you even more good photos.
Don’t forget the lighting
Lighting is also very supportive for making dramatic photos. According to Vicje, make sure there is the right light, if there is one light that is too bright, just use it to create an effect flares interesting as the photo above.
