This man managed to capture Saturn hitting the moon with the Galaxy S8
Precisely on March 29 last, a planet called Saturn lined up perfectly with the moon. Before the alignment, it seems that the surface of the two is as if Saturn has hit the moon.
This very rare moment was actually captured by an astrophotographer named Grant Petersen in Johannesburg, South Africa. He managed to record the incident using a Samsung Galaxy S8.
Petersen here records without using the zoom feature of the Samsung-made cellphone. You can imagine that the Galaxy S8, which was launched two years ago, did not yet have an optical zoom that could clearly capture the surface of the moon.

He only uses the 7mm 2x Barlow eyepiece lens. In addition, he also uses a Sky Watch 8 inch Dobsonia Telescope.
As Saturn begins to move towards the Moon, He shoots at 60 fps video. Then he processed the image using the stacking method to combine several video frames into a brighter image.
