Sony Will Make Anti Mainstream Roll Screen Phones
If the concept of a smartphone with a folding screen may have been heard before and it’s normal, then Sony currently wants to create a cellphone screen that can be rolled up.
As Dafunda Tekno quoted from Tech Radar, one of the tipsters received information about a roll-screen cellphone prototype being developed by Sony. However, there is no detailed information about the specifications.
According to news circulating, this device will use technology from Qualcomm, namely Snapdragon 855 and Modem X50. The roll screen that will be worn on the device is taken from LG, because a South Korean vendor has previously made a roll screen phone.
This smartphone with a roll screen from Sony will be launched later this year. But it could be postponed to 2022, considering the launch of Xperia 5G will also be carried out. Maybe next year is the right time to launch Sony products.
However, for those of you who are interested in having a Sony phone with a roll-screen concept, don’t expect much just yet. Given that there has been no official confirmation from Sony either.
