The Washington Post and security firm Disconnect conducted an investigation and revealed that there were more than 5,400 apps tracker which sends data from the victim’s iPhone to a third party server.

The feature is said to be aimed at improving the user experience. However, in ongoing investigations, it is often found that there is data collected in the form of sensitive information.
