Samsung will make the next foldable phone, the Galaxy Fold Z
Samsung a few months ago just released the Galaxy Fold which is a smartphone with a folding screen for the first time. Although until now the fate of the Galaxy Fold is unclear, Samsung is said to have registered a new patent for a mobile phone design with a folding screen.
As rumors circulated, the latest Samsung mobile design is the Galaxy Fold Z, which is none other than the successor to the Galaxy Fold.
As leaks circulated, the design of the Galaxy Fold Z will have a wider screen size than previous Samsung folding phones. So the number of folds is more than the Galaxy Fold.
According to a leak from Letsgodigital, the largest screen size is three times that of current smartphones. That way the screen size of the phone will be a versatile device.
Users will be able to feel like having a smartphone, tablet to a mini PC in one device at once. The Galaxy Fold Z is a device that is ideal for multitasking or just for entertainment.
Even though it’s patented, it doesn’t mean the design will be released and introduced soon. If Samsung really plans to make it happen, it could be that this phone will be introduced at events next year such as CES or MWC 2022.
Folding phones have now become a trend that is being developed by smartphone vendors. Currently, two major vendors have just introduced folding phones, namely Samsung with the Galaxy Fold and Huawei with the Mate X.
Unfortunately, none of the two have been officially marketed, even though the two phones had already been introduced so that it seemed very rushed. It’s not a good impression to get, instead, damaged components were found on the folding screen, such as the incident on Samsung’s Galaxy Fold.
