Intel and Qualcomm Will Join in Punishing Huawei

Google has recently been reported to be restricting various of its services for Huawei. It turns out that this step, there are several other technology companies from the United States that have followed in his footsteps.

Intel, Qualcomm and Broadcom which is the name in question. Based on a source report, that employees at a number of Chinese manufacturers from Uncle Sam’s country have confirmed that their companies will freeze supplies to Huawei.

This is a big blow for Huawei. Because the role of these chip manufacturers is very influential for the Chinese vendor.

Like Intel, they are a supplier of server chips and processors for Huawei laptops. Likewise with Qualcomm which is no less important. They are a supplier of modems and processors for a number of Huawei phones.

However, the company that has been included in the black list in the United States government, but they can still produce their own processors and modems.

Regarding the processor, through a subsidiary of the HiSilicon company, Huawei already has Kirin with the latest version being Kirin 980 used in the P30 Pro. As for the modem, they also already have the Balong 5000 which supports 5G technology.

This is a very interesting thing we are waiting for how Huawei continues to develop its own technology in the face of pressure from the United States.
