Huawei Prepares Its Own Operating System to Replace Android This Year
In recent times, Huawei has stated plans to develop its own operating system if it can no longer use Google’s operating system on smartphones or on Microsoft on PCs. This is because of restrictions imposed by the United States, prohibiting cooperation with Huawei.
That way, Huawei is now stating that Huawei’s operating system is ready this year. This was directly conveyed by Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei’s Consumer Business Group.
He revealed that the Huawei operating system will be ready in the fourth quarter of 2022 in China. As for the market, the operating system will be available in the first quarter or second quarter of 2022.
Huawei Ready to Make Its Own Operating System
Yu said that until now we are still committed to using Windows from Microsoft and Android from Google. This is plan B if true they don’t give access to the operating system.
He also confirmed that he would actually do plan B if his party was permanently blocked on any use of products from Google and Microsoft. “We didn’t really want to do this, but we were forced to take this decision because of the United States,” he said.
In addition, the decision taken by the United States to blacklist Huawei has not only had a bad impact on the Shenzhen-based company. This decision will also have a negative impact on the company from Uncle Sam’s country.
