How to Fix Windows 10 Failed to Boot

Problem Preparing Automatic Repair in Windows 10

  1. Restart your computer, laptop or notebook.
  2. After the BIOS appears or the type and name of your laptop appears, press F8 repeatedly (except Windows 10 can’t use this method because by default the setting to enter safe mode is disabled)
  3. Then a panel will appear containing many menus.
  4. Select Safe Mode, do not select Safe Mode Networking or Safe Mode with Command Prompt.

If this method can’t be solved, it’s time to take a slightly more complicated step. In this process, you will need a CD/DVD cassette or a Windows Operating System Flashdisk that matches the one you are using. The most important thing is to have the same type as Ultimate, Professional, Home Basic, Startup, Enterprise, etc. The last case I had, I was already using Windows 10 on a laptop and I used a Windows 8 DVD cassette to solve this problem and it worked. The steps so that your windows can run normally and do not continue to loop can follow the following method:

  1. Turn on your computer or laptop.
  2. When the BIOS screen appears, press F12 or F2 to change the Boot settings.
  3. Insert your Windows Master CD/DVD/Flashdisk.
  4. Change First Boot to CD/DVD. Meanwhile, if you use a flash that contains the Windows OS, change the First Boot to USB.
  5. Press F10 to do a SAVE. Restart your computer.
  6. After restarting, the words ‘Press Any Key From Boot to CD/DVD’ will appear. . . ‘ Press any key on your keyboard.
  7. Wait until it enters the Windows installer, then select Repair Your Computer.
  8. Wait a moment, because the computer will do a system check first. Click Next.
  9. Next, a task window will appear with 5 options for you. You can try them one by one from above except the Windows Memory Diagnostics option.

Note: Select Startup Repair if your Windows is still normal. If you have ever made a backup, please select System Restore. If you’ve ever done a restore point image, select System Image Recovery. Otherwise both select the Command Prompt option.

The last option is to use the Command Prompt, a black box will appear like cmd / dos.

Type DIR C: This is to call all the data that is on Local Disk C, especially the system so that it can be accessed and repaired.

Type one of the options below one by one (not all at once), starting with the top one first. Then press ENTER.

bootsect.exe/nt60 c:
bootsect.exe/nt60 all
bootrec /fixmbr
bootrec /fixboot
bootrec.exe /rebuildbcd
bootsect /nt60 all /force /mbr

If it says ‘The operation completed successfully’, please restart the computer. Don’t write all the executable commands above.

This method is mostly successful for how to solve boot errors in Windows or cannot enter Windows and can only enter the BIOS. If it doesn’t work, you have to do a reinstall.
