How to Create an Image-Suitable Border (Stroke) in Photoshop

We see a lot of popular Youtubers currently using thumbnails His photo has a white line around it. So, how do you make a white line follow an image in Photoshop? let’s follow the following steps.
- Open the Photoshop application on your laptop or computer
Then drag the image you want to edit.
- Next, select the image using the Magic Wand tool
If it is already
- Then select Select and Mask
Then arrange Smooth and Contrast as shown in the image below (Smooth at least number 80 so that the results will be more jagged)
- Next step in section Output to choose New Layer then select OK
Then automatically Layer Background Copy created
- Then left click on Layer Background Copy
Then select FX icon in the lower left corner then select stroke
- In this step, set the thickness of the line as you wish
How in Position choose outside then change the color of the line by selecting on Colour. More details you can see the image below. If you have clicked OK.
- Next blur or blur background so that the line looks clearer by:
Click on layers Background then select menu Filter – Blur – Gaussian Blur… (adjust the blur as you wish). If you have clicked OK.
- Finished!
Now, you can also use this method to create a frame (border) on an image or photo.
