GoRide and GrabBike Services No Longer Available
With the enactment of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in Jakarta, it has had an impact on the elimination of online motorcycle taxi services. So that online motorcycle taxis will now lose their jobs to transport passengers to the Jakarta area.
Likewise, Gojek and Grab users in Jakarta from today will no longer be able to order ojol (GoRide and GrabBike). This applies to all pick-up points and between Jakarta areas.
However, there are several other services, such as calling cars, ordering food, to delivery of goods, which are still available in both applications.
Online Ojek Service on Gojek and Grab Applications Temporarily Unavailable

Some Gojek users will no longer be able to use the GoRide button in the app to order ojol. When the pick-up point or destination is placed in the Jakarta area. Then the user will see the information ‘GoRide service is not yet available in your city’.
This is also felt by Gojek users who want to order GoRide in other cities. Such as Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi. This makes users forced to use call car services such as GoCar or GoBluebird taxis.
While in Grab, the GrabBike button for ordering ojol is still visible in the application. However, when the user presses the button, they are immediately directed to a calling car or taxi.
For other cities, GrabBike can still be used for Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi routes.
The disappearance of several online motorcycle taxi services has made social media timelines busy posting that Gojek and Grab users can no longer order motorcycle taxis in Jakarta starting today. Below are some of the tweets by netizens via Twitter about the missing ojol services on Gojek and Grab.

According to what Dafunda Tekno quoted from the confirmation made by Kumparan regarding Gojek and Grab’s response to the matter. Both of these ojol companies in Indonesia have temporarily eliminated these services. This is to comply with the decision of the DKI Jakarta government regarding the implementation of PSBB. As well as ensuring the safety of motorcycle taxi drivers.
But for the time being, Gojek and Grab still open services outside of online motorcycle taxis, such as calling cars, ordering food, and delivering goods.
