  1. The first step, open the File Manager application on your phone

    You need to remember, application File Manager each smartphone has a different name.
    For example, like a Samsung brand cellphone, the File Manager application is named ‘My Files‘, while on the Xiaomi brand cellphone it is named ‘File Manager‘.

  2. If the File Manager application is already open, enter the File Manager application settings menu

    Because here Dafunda Tekno uses a Samsung cellphone, so users can enter the settings menu via three dots icon which is to the right of the application, then tap on the menu Settings.

  3. Then on the settings page, activate the option ‘Show hidden files’

    After enabling this option, the File Manager application will show some hidden folders in the internal storage media.

  4. Then return to the File Manager home page

    Then select menu Internal Storage next to column Phone.

  5. Later there will be a display of a list of folders and files in the internal storage media

    scroll down to see WhatsApp folders.

  6. In the WhatsApp folder, select the ‘Media’ folder

    Then tap on folder Statuses. Now in this folder, users can see pictures and videos of each friend’s status on WhatsApp.

  7. What needs to be noted. To bring up the status (video or photo) in this folder, you need to see the status in the WhatApp application first

    If you have seen the status in the form of photos and videos on WhatsApp status, it will automatically appear in the folder Statuses.

  8. So if your friend’s WhatsApp status has not been seen, it will not appear in the folder.

    If it’s already in the folder Statuses, you can already select the photo or video you want to save. Then move or copy the file to another folder for easy opening.
