There is news that one WhatsApp account will be able to be used on many other devices at the same time (multi-platform). The rumor was conveyed directly by the leaker of the latest features of the popular chat application, namely WABetaInfo via his Twitter account.
“This is no longer a rumour, it has been confirmed. Users will be able to use one WhatsApp account on multiple devices.”

One WhatsApp Account Can Be Used on Many Devices Simultaneously
“Then it includes WhatsApp Windows (UWP, if available), so you can already use WhatsApp PC even if you don’t have an iPhone/Android and iPad OS included too?” added WABetaInfo.

If so far one WhatsApp account can only be used on one device or one more device using a PC. If you want to try activating the account on another device, you will see a warning that there are still active phones or PCs using the associated account.
Now if you want to use the WhatsApp account on another new device, then the WhatsApp account on the previous device must be activated log out first. So it can not be used to send messages and receive messages again.
If the information from WABetaInfo is correct, then later one WhatsApp account can be used on other devices simultaneously without having to do anything log out from the previous device.
Reportedly features multi-platform this will be available on the latest WhatsApp version 2.19.80 as Dafunda Tekno quoted from The Independent.
