8. LANCELOT

Even after so many nerfs Lancelot is a deadly assassin. Lancelot is very hard to catch and can easily reach snipers due to the added dash. He uses his second ability to harass enemies and counter almost all attacks in the game.

7. HANZO

Hanzo is the fastest farmer/jungler. He could easily farm without breaking a sweat. Hanzo can travel through walls in soul form and surprise attack snipers without even actually being there. This makes him the most aggressive assassin to jump in without fear of death because his body stays safe in the safe line.

RECOMMENDED Spell: Sprint

6. ZILONG

Zilong is best played as an assassin rather than a warrior. If Zilong farms like an assassin, he can set up a point marksman and secure a kill without the enemy escaping. Also the half-fighter nature makes him more useful than other assassins in the late game. He could really fight fighter class powerhouses like Roger, Freya with a little help from allies CC. Other assassins just waste fighters in the late game.

RECOMMENDED Spell: Flicker

5. SABER

The best hero in the game to secure the kill is undoubtedly Saber. He is the best counter hero for almost all annoying heroes. He can easily kill the marksman hero in the late game without any chance for the enemy to escape. Ultimate Saber makes enemies unable to attack or defend. It’s important to mark the other damage dealers he’s wasted along with his abilities.

4. GUSION

Currently, Gusion is the most banned assassin in Ranked matches. He has too much burst damage when used with the right combo. He can easily take down tanks with a basic passive attack which can be easily triggered twice in an ult combo. Three times if pro. Gusion’s 2nd dash in ultimate helped him secure a kill while diving in the turret and came back alive. He’s so mobile that it’s hard to aim with skills.

3. HELCURT

Helcurt can also be used to counter many caster skill heroes such as Gusion, Fanny. He can silence enemy heroes for 2 seconds. That’s 3 seconds before the nerf. Silence 1.5 seconds from his first ability and 0.5 seconds from his passive. His ultimate is great for separating all enemy heroes and pinning point marksman and securing kills before anyone finds out. He will kill you if you are not prepared, i.e. ready to do basic attacks instead of skills.
