Activision Officially Announces Call of Duty: Warzone

Since a few days ago, we have been getting rumors that Activision will be sharing a new mode for Call of Duty. From that we also know that there are many leaks that say this mode will be called Warzone and is a type of battle royale.

Even though there was a problem that said the developer wanted to take legal action against people who leaked information on their latest project. They finally announced this mode officially and shared a special trailer.

Battle Royale with 150 Players

From the trailer that was shared, there are lots of details that we can get. One of the most interesting is the number of players in one game. If PUBG only allowed 100 players, Warzone would have one match with 150 people. Plus, you don’t have to spend a dime because this game will be releasing Free to Play starting March 10.

In addition to these two things, Activision also said that this game will support cross-platform. In another sense, those of you who play on PC can meet console gamers, either PS4 or Xbox One. This may also make them confident to bring more than 100 players at one time.

Two Game Modes

Call Of Duty Warzone Battle Royale

Call of Duty Warzone itself will have two main modes, namely Battle Royale and Plunder. Maybe you are already familiar with Battle Royale which requires you to survive and win the game. Not only that, there are many features that are present in this mode such as in-Match cash which allows you to buy Equipment, Field Upgrades, Killstreaks, to Revive Tokens to revive dead team members.

In addition, those of you who die too quickly will get a chance to live again through 1vs1 battles. This feature called ‘The Gulag’ will allow you to come back to life if you win against the specified enemy.

Plunder Mode?

Call of Duty Warzone Plunder

This one mode does sound new to us. As the name suggests, Plunder itself will be a mode where you have to rob other players. Not to survive, this mode prioritizes the person who gets the most cash wins.

Yes, you can get the cash from destroying Supply Boxes, completing Contracts, or killing enemies. Similar to Deathmatch mode, dead players will get respawns and the game will be determined within a certain time.

Are you interested in playing this game? Listen, for those who already have COD: MW, you only need 20GB to update this mode. Meanwhile, those who just want to download must have at least 100 GB of storage.
