There will be a FIFA 19 Champions League eSport Competition! Interested in joining?

GridGames.ID – After being eagerly awaited by many parties, EA Sports and UEFA have finally officially announced that they will soon release an eSports version of the Champions League tournament called the eChampions League.

Reporting from eSports Insider, the eChampions League competition itself will be competed through one of the best-selling soccer games by EA Sports, FIFA 19.

Later, people who are interested in participating in this game version of the Champions League competition will be screened through the eChampions League Global Online Knockout qualification which will be held on 2-3 March 2021.

So of all the participants, 64 players with the highest number of points will take part in the advanced qualification round which will be held at the end of April next year.

After getting 8 winners, these participants will depart for the city of Madrid the day before the Champions League final, to be precise on May 31, 2021, to play the ultimate eChampions League party.

EA Sports and FIFA have prepared a total prize of US$280,000 or around Rp. 4 billion to enliven the competition, of which US$100,000 (Rp. 1.4 billion) will be won by the main winner.

Prior to the eChampions League, EA Sports had already collaborated with the Premier League to hold an eSports league competition called the ePremier League which was inspired by the FIFA eWorld Cup.
