Many Complaints, Mukomuko Regent Asks Government to Block Online Games

GridGames.ID – Problems and complaints about online games in several regions of Indonesia are increasingly appearing.
This time, the Regent of Mukomuko, Bengkulu Province named Sapuan asked the central government to block online gaming sites and applications in his area.
The Regent of Mukomuko made the request because online games are considered to have many negative impacts on children.

The Regent of Mukomuko has sent an application letter to the Minister of Communication and Information to block the game in the Mukomuko area.
The Regent of Mukomuko claimed that he received many complaints from the public because the phenomenon of online game addiction among teenagers was quite disturbing.
“The Regent has submitted a letter of application to ask the Minister of Communication and Information through the Director General of Information at the Ministry of Communication and Information to block online games in the Mukomuko Regency area,” said Bustari Maller, Head of the Mukomuko Information and Communications Service to ANTARA (22/6/2021).
