Krafton announces BGMI’s first official competition titled Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021
GridGames.ID – After announcing that Battlegrounds Mobile India has been downloaded by more than 37 million players, Krafton has finally revealed the new eSports scene for the game.
This first competitive tournament is titled Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021 or BGMIS 2021.
Prior to the ban on the PUBG Mobile game by the Indian government, the competition was previously known as the PUBG Mobile India Series (PMIS).
BGMIS 2021 will open registration on 19 July and provide a total prize of around IDR 1.9 billion.

Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021
Previously, PMIS was an open tournament for all players.
With a total of 992 slots open for teams to qualify through the in-game qualifying rounds, each team must play 15 matches.
