The excitement of the Road to IGDX 2021 event
GridGames.ID – The Indonesia Game Developer Exchange (IGDX) will be held again this year.
A series of interesting activities have been prepared, starting from the IGDX Academy, IGDX Career, IGDX Business, to the IGDX Conference.
“This is a real step for the government to support the development of the Indonesian gaming industry ecosystem,” said Director General of Information Applications, Semuel A. Pangerapan in a written statement, Tuesday (16/11).

According to him, IGDX can be a meeting place between local game industry players and foreign game industry players.
“With facilitation starting from improving product quality and human resources for local game developer industry players, to becoming a forum for investors, publishers, local and foreign, and foreign game developers to meet and collaborate with local game developers,” he said.
Different from before, IGDX 2021 will be held in a virtual format.

It was chosen because the world is currently still in a pandemic situation.
“Through virtual technology, the pandemic is not an obstacle for game developers to show their game products through virtual exhibitons,” he added.
