GridGames.ID – PT Link Net Tbk (Link) with the First Media brand, a leader in the Cable TV and Fixed Broadband Cable Internet provider industry in Indonesia today launched First Warriors, which is the first eSports athlete talent search audition in Indonesia.

In an effort to build an eSports ecosystem, First Media together with its partners held First Warriors through competitions in six big cities, namely Jakarta, Medan, Batam, Surabaya, Semarang and Bandung.

The First Warriors launch event in Jakarta was opened by the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PT Link Net Tbk. Victor Indajang and PT Link Net Tbk’s Content and eSports Director Ferliana Suminto, which was also attended by PT Yamisok Tech Indonesia’s Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Diana Tjong, Garena Indonesia’s Business Development and eSports Manager Wiajaya Nugroho and Deputy Chairperson of the Indonesia eSports Association (IESPA) William Cahyadi.

And in 2022, Newzoo predicts mobile gaming will generate revenue of 95.4 billion USD.
