EA Acquires Playdemic From Warner Bros Games for IDR 20T

GridGames.ID – Electronic Arts (EA) today (24/6) announced that it has successfully purchased Golf Clash game developer, Playdemic.

Warner Bros. Games, which previously owned developer Playdemic, managed to receive Rp 20 trillion in cash for the acquisition by EA.

EA thus acquired Playdemic from Warner Bros. Games in a seemingly huge deal.

Playdemic itself is a mobile game developer based in the UK and founded in 2010.

The developer is better known as the creator of the very popular game called Golf Clash.

The game has managed to amass more than 80 million downloads worldwide for iOS and Android platforms.

Not only has it garnered tens of millions of downloads, the game has also won the Game of Year award for its innovative gameplay.
