Indonesia wins gold medal in eSports

GridGames.ID – The 2021 Asian Games are still going on today.

For the first time, the eSports branch is included in the Asian Games agenda.

Although it is only an exhibition event, this is a good start for the development of eSports.

There are 6 games competed at the 2021 Asian Games, namely Arena of Valor, League of Legends, Clash Royale, Heartstone, Starcraft 2, and Pro Evolution Soccer 2021.

Ridel Isaiah Sumarandak from the eSports Clash Royale sport contributed one gold medal..

In this event, it can be said that Indonesia made a new history.

In the Clash Royale game on Monday (27/8), Ridel managed to beat China’s top 1 athlete, Lciop with a score of 3-1.

Clash Royale is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game released by Supercell which is touted as the successor to Clash of Clans or more popularly known as CoC.

This game relies on strategy, among other things, players need to collect certain character cards to win the battle.

Unfortunately, the gold produced by the teenager from North Sulawesi did not change the 2021 Asian Games standings.
