What causes website visitors to drop dramatically?
Visitors are a way for writers to keep their spirits performing activities on the blog. Without visitors, the author cannot share what he wants, and if there are a lot of visitors, the author will carefully create articles that he wants to share. In the world of bloggers, the author himself sometimes also provides special ads on his website and only with this ad can the author make money, when there are very few visitors, the results are not many either, and it is different when you have quite a lot of visitors, of course the income is sufficient.
Many Indonesians and the surrounding countries like blogging activities, some even Buy a very expensive server to build a very good and strong website, with the intention of holding onto everything even the unreasonable visitors. Perhaps, for the first person to blog, it will just be used as a hobby and learn words that deserve to be written and make it a permanent hobby.
While there are many rules in the blogging world, some people choose to have their own rules. In fact, a few years ago it was my own character that didn’t favor the search engines to get the first order or not. The most important thing for me was to just improve the pages of the site and make them as good as possible so that people would be happy with the look and feel when they enter the site. But right now I’m confused whether to stick to the existing rules or stay in a neutral position, and the most important thing is that the blog activity I’m working on runs smoothly in the search engines.

There is also an algorithm on google like Panda, penguin, hummingbird, mobile friendly and more whose name is still unknown, the algorithm, if updated, can cause visitors to drop dramatically if the effect affects the blog they are having. Hence, blog owners these days need to be careful in this regard and continue to create good content and not be unimportant. Here are some things that cause website visitors to go under, see below.
- Big day – The big day here is not a holiday, but the red date that will be celebrated in a few days. An example is Eid al-Fitr, because many people celebrate this day, many do not open the internet. The possibility of an enddown is only available on this day.
- Website server is down – This is often experienced by users who buy a separate server to build their website. This could be due to the provider or to an attack, which will certainly always see this incident on the logs or server status provided by the provider.
- Because of an external script – Many use external Javascript that pulls data from other URLs. The URL may not be available on the server, making the website very difficult to access. This can not only happen in Javascript, but also in HTML image tags that take over image URLs from other websites!
- Statistical counter error – Website owners installing counter-script from another website can experience this problem. It is best not to think that counters from other websites can collect the correct data, errors can also occur that will astound people when they see them. Difference between penalty and algorithm update is? In the event of a penalty, all articles or pages that have appeared in search engines will be removed. Meanwhile, if the algorithm update only lowers the page position and is difficult for visitors to reach, apart from the fact that the algorithm update also affects the indexed articles, it usually takes 1 to 2 days for the article to appear on the SERPs whereas if there is a problem it will come on the stage about 1 week. If that is the problem you are having, it is better to start a new blog with new content.
Website owners will be happy to have regular visitors. When talking about falling visitor numbers above, it is different when suddenly there are a lot of visitors and this can be seen in the evolution of the blog, the nature of the day, and things related to blogs like the ranking.
