Types of viruses on Android smartphones

Viruses are what everyone hates the most because they damage something. Be it files, adapters, etc., any virus can be one of the ingredients to gradually destroy components. Even though the virus cannot be seen with the naked eye, the system can still see it and of course block it so that unwanted things don’t happen. Viruses come in many forms and if your device is infected with a virus it is up to you who are not careful what you are doing with your device. If a powerful anti-virus is available on the computer, but even the powerful one still does not recognize an encrypted virus, everyone must be careful with their device.
At the moment I am not discussing viruses on PCs, however on the popular Android smartphone. There are many cases that come up when your cellphone is infected with a virus, data is lost, something goes wrong and so on. Certainly there are far more cell phone users than PC users, and you are familiar with some viruses that can make your cell phone irregular to the outside world. I have seen almost everything myself and some phones require an application to prevent this from happening, but if you have to decide first Antivirus application that does not use the phone’s RAM so that its performance remains stable, with the intent not to be slow.
Obviously, if you’ve ever opened a browser and saw a virus on your phone, it is very impossible because everyone the website can only be entered in the form of an embedding in the mobile radio system. If you find it that way, just call it a scare so you’ll want to install an antivirus application provided by the website. Of course, many are fooled precisely because of this and if you already know then just ignore it, because everything will be fine. Here are some viruses that exist on Android phones, see below.
- Trojans – This virus has various extensions related to internet connection. This virus runs DOS on the server which has been discontinued, can be done through different call types, namely TCP and UDP. It’s in the system and works automatically when the phone boots.
- Embed This virus works on the part of the cell phone system that calls from a website, can perform functions such as automatic calls, automatic message sending and theft of data stored in memory directly on the cell phone.
- Mass deletion – This has to be very careful because if you install an application that you do not trust, all files on the SD card and internally will be deleted without permission and can never be returned.
- Executable files – This one virus can take any form as it can run itself directly and cause a boot loop, usually this virus is on the system in the init.d. folder.
- Program optimizations – Since Android is based on Linux, any service that exists on Linux can be run on Android. This virus can disrupt the stability of objects and applications. Can create a boot loop if the phone is immediately removed from the battery without manually disabling it.
- Automatic schedule – This virus is in the form of a file that continues to execute the file at a certain point in time with the help of a crontab (cronjob). Allows data theft in memory.
Even if it is only a little, one of the viruses is very dangerous, the most dangerous is probably the mass eraser, which can delete all data that you store either on the SD card or on the system, they can be easily and quickly deleted as if you didn’t know. So my advice, just in case you back up your phone once a week so that you can restore it if your phone has any problems. There is currently no virus that can kill the phone as it only affects the system and can be fought by changing the ROM as the old ROM has been infected.
Virus problems Frequently or easily experienced on ROOTED phonesbecause it can edit the system and paste something on the phone. Even if there are apps that have cool features but aren’t listed on the Play Store or don’t have a unique creator, don’t believe it because it can be dangerous if allowed by a superuser embed another script in the system. Any superuser is very helpful with permissions, and you should be glad that superusers don’t just grant permissions to every app. When compared to the superuser who directly gives permission to all applications, just imagine what will happen on the phone in the future.
Most of the rooted phones have been installed BusyBox also adding features from Linux, this is actually also cautious, as features like crontab, wget and others also come from Busybox. but As long as the user can pay attention, nothing will happen to his mobile phone, of course. If you have anything to ask, please comment. ️
Hopefully useful and good luck
