Maximizing Keyword Articles at the Top of the SERP

Tips on optimizing keywords so that articles are at the top of the SERPs

From the end of 2009 that the Google search engine no longer recognizes keywords of the meta-tag type for its own reasons. Perhaps the meta has a search problem that a lot of people use to cheat to get to the top on a keyword. And now, Google certainly has a smarter system for recognizing each keyword and serving relevant articles at the top.

Getting first position in Google search is not easy, one thing that is not impossible is the subject of the article never published on a website so that the content of the topic of the article comes purely from your own head.

Creating articles is not as easy as expected, let alone wanting to appear in the first order of Google, but maximizing it so that it comes to the top is still possible with the help of the right keywords.

If a user has been to a forum discussing SEO, they must have heard about keywords every now and then. Without the right keywords, articles are very hard to get to the top and while they can get to the top, keyword searches need to be seen as well.

Because if nobody searches Google with the keywords used, who will visit the user’s article even though it is already in the first place?

In this article, I’m going to share a few ways to maximize keywords so that articles get the top ordering on Google. I don’t want to patronize because I am still learning myself and this tutorial is real from my own experience that I have applied to several websites that I have maintained so far.

Find the right keywords

Before you want to create an article, you should first search for the appropriate keywords and with the highest search queries. To do this, users can use the help on the Semrush website. But actually, you can also use the help of Google Keyword Plant.

See competitors with these keywords

If you’ve managed to get keywords with a high enough search, the next step is to see whether or not too many website competitors are using those keywords. It is not recommended if there are too many competitors as it will be difficult to get first place. Unless there are only about 10 websites, users can select these keywords for the subject of the article.

Put keywords in the meta description

This is very necessary as the Google search engine can recognize keywords directly from the title, the slug and of course this meta description. When a user searches for the selected keyword, the text in the description in the search engine is printed in bold so that the position in the SERPs can be increased as it is more relevant.

Use keywords in subheadings

Sometimes an article that covers tutorials or tips will have subheadings to help readers understand what is being discussed in the session. Now it would be better if the user add the keyword in a sub-heading. These are tips Optional but also influences the SEO aspect, albeit a little.

What I mean above is when a user creates an article and it contains a link to another site in it. So it’s better if the link doesn’t have the keyword bells and whistles that the user is using in the article. This is because writing keywords in the outbound link improves the performance of the outbound link, not the user’s article.

That’s all users can later try to maximize that keyword. I understand that the tips above are not too many and few, but if the user tries to apply at least one article and thinks they will get good results on the SERP then this is it. no longer impossible.

Most people create articles based on inspiration from other people’s articles and process their own words, but it is even better if users create articles with topics straight from experience so that results can be good in a search later on.

And one more thing to get to the top on Google is not immediate and takes less time when there are many competitors. And sometimes with this algorithm update, it is like Google rearranging the position of a keyword so that other websites also feel like they are in the first place.

Hopefully useful and good luck
