How to turn off Turbo Boost on a laptop

There are currently many laptops that offer the Turbo Boost function. But do you understand what it is and what it is used for? In simple terms, these features can improve CPU performance, for example, increasing it from 1.8 GHz to 3.8 GHz.

While it has good elements, enabling the Turbo Boost feature has several drawbacks. One of them is that the CPU heats up quickly because it is working optimally. Of course, especially if you play games for a long time, the CPU temperature continues to rise and that’s not good for laptops.

Disabling this feature does not affect the system, but it does affect performance. Because turning it off naturally lowers the computer performance and there is no support for Turbo Boost. But don’t worry because you can still turn on again the function later.
