How to overcome Android Bootloop HP
Phones that suddenly boot loop are very annoying, especially under undesirable circumstances like when a user tries to fix the phone and what happens is boot loop. There are many influences that cause the phone to have this problem. This is sure to happen due to some malfunction of the system or program in the phone causing the phone to not work properly.
But the users know that there are things that make Android phones boot and solving the problem is actually quite simple and also based on the phone’s condition.
The wrong thing I mean is like when the user tries do a factory reset but in the midst of failure. Well, the failure can be of any kind, for example the phone battery suddenly drops The reset process is therefore no longer continued.
If the reset process does not continue, there are automatically still files that have not been properly deleted or replaced. Because resetting the phone will replace the entire system like new again.
It’s different with a rooted phone, very different potential boot loop and the damage can be minimized by using it custom recovery. If the user’s mobile phone is currently in a boot loop, regardless of whether it is rooted or not, follow these steps to resolve the issue.
- Reset phone from recovery – Usually this method is also referred to as doing to wipe from the phone’s standard restore. To enter the recovery even with the phone turned off and turn it on together with a special button.
Please search Google based on your phone type as the restore call has a different method on each phone type.
- Wait for the boot process approx. 10 minutes – It could be that it is not a boot loop but the process of waiting for the phone to start. Because on some Android phones, users have to wait around 10 minutes to reset like they would on a new phone.
But if 10 minutes still only show the logo, it means that it is a boot loop.
- Know errors that cause the boot loop – In some cases, Android that has been rooted and was hit by a bootloop accident must have just installed an application or flashed an application from recovery.
If the user knows what was last installed on their phone, it will be deleted immediately. Where did you erase it? Users can delete the file via Temporary file manager which is normally installed by recovery.
- Reinstallation of stock ROM – This method only applies to rooted phones. Usually new Android phone users don’t know the compatibility of a custom ROM and just install it while seeing a very good ROM display.
Now the custom ROM mismatch is the cause of the boot loop and the user has to install the standard ROM. To get it, please join the facebook group that discusses the user’s type of cellphone.
- Flashing phone – If the above method still fails to fix this problem, then one of the most effective and proven methods is to flash cellphone on PC. Users can search Google for flash methods by mobile phone type.
But as a suggestion, please ask for the firmware on the phone type’s Facebook fan page to get the latest firmware version.
- Replace the damaged EMMC – This is the final method if the above doesn’t work. Previously I said that doing the flash process might prove successful to get rid of the bootloop, this is really true. However, some people cannot flash or with the intent that the flash process will fail because of these corrupted EMMC, so the process always fails in the middle.
Replacing this EMMC isn’t that easy and my advice to take it to a mechanic is a better decision.
You don’t have to worry if the user’s phone is still not rooted as the first method definitely works. While the rooted phone has to go through several stages from the smallest to the largest.
What causes the EMMC to fail? I’m actually still not so sure if I want to answer that, because the problem is always different and the last time I repaired a cell phone this was caused couldn’t change the custom ROM often.

Installing a recovery with backup and restore capabilities will allow boot loop events to continue to be processed without any problems. Indeed, installing an additional recovery is one of the mandatory things to do when a user has just rooted.
The phone I have has also booted more than 10 times and so far it’s still normal without ever flashing a pc and only helped by additional recovery. If anyone wants to ask about how to overcome a bootloop Android phone, discuss it in the comments.
