How to enable sound on Remote Desktop (RDP)

Remote Desktop, or better known as RDP, is still widely traded for a purpose. Most of them require RDP in order to use their connection for faster and more convenient downloading or uploading of files.
Connecting to RDP is also the same as streaming, where the device used to connect to RDP does not require large amounts of data. For example, when watching videos or listening to music via RDP, the data output is not too high (depending on the quality setting).
But by default you usually can’t hear any audio when opening RDP. This is because the settings in the RDP file are incorrect or the virtual machine may not have the audio driver installed yet.

Can speech or audio be listened to via RDP?
The answer is “can“But this requires stable connectivity so that the sound you get is smooth and not brebet. So make sure that the signal you get when connected to RDP can be maximized for a comfortable audio playback experience.
But if you manage RDP through your own VPS, for example, and want the maximum signal, go ahead Change server location to the next, for example in South East Asia. With a connection of at least 10 Mbit / s, it is sufficient to display audio and video in RDP.

What if I can’t hear the sound on RDP?
If you have followed all of the above but you still cannot hear the sound on RDP, please check the volume on RDP first and also check the computer you are using. Also, make sure that the audio icon in the toolbar is not marked with a red X.
If the audio symbol in the toolbar is marked with a red X, it means that the audio driver is not yet in the RDP. So you just need a driver called. to install Virtual cable audio. Please download with RDP and then install as usual.
When the installation process is complete, please restart RDP and in any case the audio icon will no longer be red and can be used properly.
